Privacy policy
Effective
NeonRepute works with information about three kinds of people: the venue owners and managers who hire us, their staff, and the guests and members of the public who write about venues online. This page sets out what we hold about each and why.
The business behind NeonRepute
NeonRepute is run by Techno Hiker Pvt Ltd, a private limited company registered in India, which is responsible for the information described here. Privacy questions go to hello@neonrepute.site, or use the reputation review form.
Venue owners and managers
- What you enter in the incident report form: name, email, venue type, venue name and city, website and message.
- For clients: agreements, invoices, approvals of replies, and the reports we send.
- Platform access you grant us, such as a manager role on a business profile. We ask for roles, not passwords.
Venue staff
When a review or post names a staff member, we note it only as far as needed to handle that review. We never repeat staff names in public replies, and we do not keep separate files on employees.
Guests and the public
Monitoring means reading public reviews, posts and articles that mention a client's venue. We may keep screenshots and links as evidence, together with the public account name that posted them. We look only at public content; we never join private groups or view private accounts. Anyone who believes we hold something about them can ask us to review and delete it where we no longer need it.
Purposes
We use this information to answer enquiries, deliver the services a venue has hired us for, report reviews to platforms, keep records the law requires, and keep this website secure. Personal information is not sold, and it is not handed to others for advertising that follows people across websites.
Cookies
This site uses a single session cookie, which exists so the form can reject forged submissions. There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
Who else sees it
Review platforms, when we file a report on a client's behalf; our web host and email service; and authorities where the law requires. Client names stay private unless the client agrees in writing.
International handling
We operate from India and rely on providers in other countries, so information can be stored or accessed outside the United States.
Retention
- Review requests that do not become engagements: removed within twelve months.
- Evidence about public posts: kept for the engagement and for as long as a related report, dispute or claim could still arise.
- Contracts and invoices: as long as tax and contract rules require.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, or that we stop a particular use. People in California have those rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, plus the right to limit use of sensitive information and not to be disadvantaged for exercising any of them; several other states grant similar rights. Email us or use the form, and after checking who you are we will answer within the period the law sets.
Updates
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the effective date at the top will change. Terms for clients are in our terms of service, and packages on the pricing page.
